SCCC is a multi-denominational church
in beautiful San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. By the mercies of God the
church has and is serving a wide variety of evangelical, conservative
Christians. Our people are all Norte-Americanos (Canada, US, and Mexico) who either live here full-time or part-time, visit here on a regular basis, vacation here, or minister here as missionaries. The church began years ago as a community social fellowship of four or five people, and they grew to considerable size; eventually they realized most if not all of them were church goers and spent most of their time together in Christian fellowship. Soon the obvious conclusion was for a more formally organized body; a church seemed to grow up from these roots. Not too long ago the group constituted itself as a legal operation in affiliation with a local ministry and began holding services; soon a pastor was called and so was founded the San Carlos Community Church. |
