 Good Morning SCCC Family,

* Remember Thursday at 5:30pm right at the Church – The Fish Fry!” Bring a neighbor or friend along for a great evening of food, fun and fellowship! The meal is being served on a donation only basis and the proceeds will continue to be used to support our Missions program.
* Mark Mulligan, singer and now author, will be at the church on Friday Morning, March 28th@ 10am for a book signing event related to the release of his new book “The Three Miracles”. The proceeds of his book will be used to support the Missions work Mark is involved with. “Mark” your calendar!
* Semana Santa will be here before you know it and our very own “Mayra” is heading up a project for children in our church parking lot on Wed and Thursday, (April 16&17). Mayra’s focus, while including tourists in San Carlos, is really on connecting with children in our local area. We have a wonderful opportunity, with her bilingual abilities, to develop an ongoing connection with these children and to influence them for Christ. If you can help “man” a booth, direct children, serve a hotdog or two, please email Mayra with your willingness to help at I’m so encouraged to see us partnering with Howard’s students from their Seminary in this effort of touching the children of San Carlos for Christ!
* I hear SCCC got some good press at Rescate’s Melodrama on Sunday! Thanks Daryl! Still a few days left to take in this fun filled evening. I hear “Big Don” will probably be moving to Hollywood after his performance!
* Ken & Ruth VanKirk will be with us March 29 & 30 to share highlights of their ministry with the Tarahumara Indians. So looking forward to hearing about their ministry!
* Quote of the WeekHere’s a unique truth so worthy of our consideration: There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.”  Aristotle
* Jeannine and I enjoyed a great St. Patrick Day’s” Dinner last night in Club Deportivo. So good to see so many of you participating in our community!
* Please help us out by responding to our “Address Update” email which you should have received in the last few days. If for some reason, you or someone you know was left out, please click “reply” to this email and inform us and we’ll follow up with you.
* Restaurant of the Week – “El Tigre” – you have got to try out the “Burros” at this place in North Guaymas,( close to CFE). They are delicious monsters and yes, you will still get enough to eat by sharing with your spouse! What a fun time!
* Great to see Dan Atkinson back and doing well, his knee is working better than ever.
* Prayer Needs for you to partner with: Please continue to remember Christina McCleod recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer; Mary Sprague, and Ric Einfelt.
* This weekend, we will finish up our series from Nehemiah. Hope you get a chance to read Chapter 13 in advance. Its an interesting chapter in light of the promises they made in chapter 10. I think what continues to capture my attention is the passion and desire of our God to work through these people, in spite of their many failures and shortcomings. He is such a God of Grace! I also find myself drawn into the correlation between their time frame and ours! God still longs for us to move out of our comfort zones, live a devoted life in our respective communities, be mobilized for ministry and the end result once again, as was so clearly portrayed in chapter 12, is a life of genuine worship before our incredibly great God!

Praying you have a great week!
Pastor Glenn y Jeannine
