Try Not To Be A Thomas!

Thomas was a doubter.  Personally trained in the school of Jesus, Thomas had a difficult time believing.   Even his fellow disciples could not convince him that Jesus really was alive from the grave.  “Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and I place my hand into his side, I will not believe.”  John 20:25  That is some pretty staunch unbelief.

What does it take to convince you that Jesus is really God?  How hard is it for you to be persuaded that He really did rise up from the dead for you?

I love Thomas’ reaction when he finally did believe.  “My Lord and my God!”

Don’t waste your life being a Thomas.  Accept the facts – Jesus died and rose again to give you eternal life, forgiveness of sin, and joy filled peace within you.  “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”  John 20:29
