Do You Struggle With Questions?

“For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?  Or who is given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”   Romans 11:34-35

How big is God?  He is big enough and great enough that no one on the earth can raise themselves up to His level.  Paul says, God is big enough to do what He wants and He knows exactly what He is doing and why He is doing it.

We need counselors, people to advise us.  God doesn’t.  When we have questions about life and situations and why things are turning out the way they are- we struggle sometimes with those questions.  God doesn’t.  He is big enough, wise enough, and smart enough to see the end from the beginning.  God is from everlasting to everlasting.

You may question Him about the direction of why something is not going the way that you think it should, but be careful.  What you know and understand and what God knows and understands about that situation are on two very different levels.  Who do you think knows best?

We need God’s counsel in everything and we must be willing to wait on Him until He gives it to us.  The Holy Spirit will reveal the thoughts of the Lord to us and He will counsel us as we seek Him out.
