Good Day to You.  Time seems to be perfect. It just keeps ticking away. It never fails to continue, and almost the same each day. I know some scientific theorist will tell me that there is a little variation but for me, each day just happens and the time just keeps passing. Nothing I have or own continues as perfectly as time. Not I, nor my wife (as perfect as she is) nor my machines that I own are perfect. But time never fails to continue almost perfectly.

“We are told that time is “enigmatic” and “ineffable”, but that does not help us much in our search for the true nature of time. Nearly two and a half thousand years ago, Aristotle contended that, “time is the most unknown of all unknown things”, and arguably not much has changed since then.” Exactly What Is Time?     We are told atomic clocks are extremely accurate. Really time is a concept that each culture through history has tried to measure.

Time concerns me because it becomes history. I wonder what the passage of time will say of me, of us, as it becomes history? History is the passage of time. Some history is not recorded as it seems irrelevant at the moment, but later events dictate those events as worthy of a look. Time marches on is what they say. It sure does, and I realize it carries me along regardless of what I choose. The writer of Ecclesiastes says in chapter three that there is a time for everything. He is right. And I trust the Spirit that breathed thoughts into that writers’ hand as he wrote his words. Though the writer does not say so, I know that there is a time for governments to rise, to fall, and to pass into history. What will history say of them? And then though the writer does not say so, I also trust that the same Spirit that motivated that writer, will also motivated people to pray and cry out and that same Spirit will bring revival on the lands. So as the hands of time pass, my hands are clasped with my wife’s hands and we pray. We pray that he moves in governments and people and there is a time for everything.

God is on the move. His work is perfect. His timing is even move perfect than the accuracy of time it’s self. God is perfect. He is holy and not stained by sin. He is perfect in his administration. Perfect in his designing. There are no errors in his ways.

Back in ancient times there was a man named Daniel. I don’t think there has ever been another like him! He saw the rise and fall of governments, nations and kings. He went through it all just like he was a passenger on the vehicle of time. Through it all he never had any thought that God would fail him. He continued to pray and trust God. Mark K preached this Sunday and he said that God didn’t save Daniel in the lion’s den but through the lion’s den. In fact, for point God took Daniel through times and situations that would have caused many to be fearful. While I don’t know if Daniel was fearful, I do know that the record says he continued to pray. Mark also talked about being an overcomer. John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Mark like many of us, and like Daniel have kept faith in God and are able to be overcomers.

Keep praying, this time will pass and we will overcome and can be like the example given to us like Mark, like Daniel and just perhaps in time people may record us as overcomers.

Blessings, Pastor Chuck. Pray more, trust and don’t give up.

We will be open for public worship services this Sunday. STRICT regulations are being kept regarding facemasks, and hand sanitizer. Service will also be LIVE on Facebook. You do not need an account. But as San Carlos is growing and it adds more demand on the available wifi service providers, it affects the upload of our video feed. If the “live” feed you are receiving is interrupted we encourage you to please return and go the page and bring up “Videos” and you will find the recorded video for each Sunday.
